NOTICE OF FORECLOSURE OF EQUITY OF REDEMPTION TAKE NOTICE THAT: SOUTH GEORGIA EQUITY CORPORATION, GEORGE ROLAND THOMASON, MS. PATRICIA LESSER, MR. EMMETT E. PHILLIPS, AND ANY OR ALL OTHER POSSIBLE and/or UNKNOWN PERSONS ENTITLED TO NOTICE WHO CLAIM ANY POSSESSORY OR ADVERSE RIGHT, TITLE OR INTEREST IN THE RESPONDENT PROPERTY This is a Notice Pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 48-4-46, To Foreclose the Equity of Redemption for Tax Sale Deed. The right to redeem the following described property, to wit: ALL THAT TRACT or parcel of land lying and being in the 18th District, 2nd Section of Douglas County, Georgia, and being a part of Original Land Lot #998 thereof, as described: BEGINNING at an iron pin on Radford Road 488 feet southeast of Summer Lake Road and running 75 feet to and from a pin on Radford Road thence running 160 feet to an iron pin on Johnson Road, thence running 75 feet along Johnson Road to an iron pin; thence running 160 feet back to a point of beginning. Being subdivided Lot11, Hyton Park S/d. Also being known as Tax Parcel # 09981820019. The Statutory Notice of Redemption will expire and be forever foreclosed and barred on and after the 30th day of September, 2017, whichever is later.
The tax deed to which this notice relates is dated December 2, 2008, and is recorded in the office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Douglas County, Georgia, in Deed Book 2751 at page 332-333.
