TAKE NOTICE THAT: The right to redeem the following described property, will expire and be forever foreclosed and barred after the 9th day of November, 2016, to wit: All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the 1st District, 5th Section of Douglas County, Georgia, being part of Land Lot 17 thereof and described as: Beginning at a point on the westerly side of the right of way of Thompson Street a/k/a Georgia Highway No. 92, which point is 200 feet northerly from the intersection of the westerly side of the right of way of Thompson Street with the northerly side of the right of way of Parker Street, as measured along the westerly side of the right of way of Thompson Street, and running thence South 68 degrees 43 minutes West a distance of 122 feet and to a corner; thence northwesterly a distance of 100 feet to a corner; thence northeasterly a distance of 113.4 feet and to a corner on the westerly side of the right of way of Thompson Street; thence South 26 degrees East and along the westerly side of the right of way of Thompson Street a distance of 109.3 feet and to an established corner at the point of beginning. All is more clearly shown by plat of survey of the same made by Carl A. Cochran, Surveyor, dated March 14, 1970, said plat of survey being made a part hereof by reference thereto in order to more clearly show the courses, distances, metes and bounds of said described premises. The tax deed to which this notice relates is dated the 1st day of September, 2015 and is recorded in the office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Douglas County, Georgia, in Deed Book 3331 at page 311. The property may be redeemed at any time before 5:00 p.m. on the 9th day of November, 2016, by payment of the redemption price as fixed and provided by law to the undersigned at the following address: 367 West Memorial Drive, Dallas, Georgia 30132.
