STATE OF GEORGIA COUNTY OF DOUGLAS PUBLICATION OF NOTICE AND SUMMONS To: MICHAEL DEDMONS and JOHN DOE Douglas County RE: Douglas County Juvenile Court File Nos: 17-JV-0271, 17-JV-0272 & 13-JV-0102, 13-JV-0103 In the Interest of J.B.D. & A.Z.D., minor children GREETINGS: you are hereby notified that a MOTION TO REVOKE PERMANENT GUARDIANSHIP and a PETITION TO TERMINATE PARENTAL RIGHTS regarding the minor child has been filed in the Juvenile Court of Douglas County, on February 17, 2017. The Petitioners in both actions are Natalie and Broderick Bonner. The Petition to Terminate Parental Rights alleges that you have abandoned your children, are unable to care for them, and that termination of parental rights is in their best interest. A pre-trial hearing has been set for April 17, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. and a trial has been set for May 24, 2017 at 3:00 p.m., at the Juvenile Court of Douglas County, 8700 Hospital Drive, Douglasville, GA 30134. You are required to appear before the Court at the time fixed to answer the allegations of the Petition to Terminate Parental Rights and to respond to the Motion to Revoke Permanent Guardianship. Be advised that under O.C.G.A. ยง15-11-283(c) you will lose all rights to these children, and will receive no further notice of future hearings, or be entitled to object to the termination of parental rights, unless within thirty days you file a Petition to Legitimate with this Court. You have a right to be heard in these matters and you should appear personally or through counsel at this hearing. You have a right to appointed counsel, if you are found to be indigent within the meaning of the law. However, you must first apply to the Court for an attorney.
