Fifth suspect charged in 2015 murder Wyche denied bond during initial court appearance

Trillion Wyche

A suspect in a 2015 murder made his first court appearance Thursday.

Trillion Wyche, 26, is charged with murder, felony murder, armed robbery and burglary, Douglas County District Attorney Brian Fortner said.

Wyche is the fifth suspect arrested and charged in the Oct. 7, 2015 home invasion, robbery and murder of 29-year-old Marc Foster at the Birch Landing Apartment Complex in Austell.

Fortner told the court Thursday authorities had been investigating the fifth suspect for some time but only had a nickname. In the hearing, he explained that a codefendant recently identified Wyche as one of the gunmen who entered the residence of Foster on Tree Terrace Parkway to rob him.

"Wyche was actually named as one of the shooters and the driver of the getaway car," Fortner told the Sentinel Thursday afternoon.

Douglas County Chief Superior Court Judge David Emerson refused to set bond at Thursday's hearing.

A fourth suspect, Darryl Barksdale, 35, was arrested by Cobb County police and was charged in connection to the crimes in March of this year.

Three other suspects -- Kennard Lee Hodge, Sean Bernard Edwards and Khayri Danyaan Tatum -- were all previously arrested.

All five suspects are charged with murder, armed robbery and burglary and remain in the Douglas County jail.
