Deangelo Buckhalter, 28, was arrested and charged with escape and violating probation on Jan. 8.
Douglas County Superior Court Judge David T. Emerson sentenced Buckhalter to 10 years of felony probation with 30 days to serve on Dec. 1, 2013.
Between Nov. 1 and Dec. 9, 2011, Buckhalter took cash from the Walmart on Thornton Road on 10 different occasions, according to his arrest warrant. The robberies added up to $560 worth of stolen cash.
On Nov. 13, 2013, Buckhalter took a plea deal where one year was the minimum term of imprisonment he could receive and 15 years was the maximum term he could receive.
Buckhalter was denied bond in Douglas County Magistrate Court on Monday, according to jail records.
