Residents of Douglasville and Douglas County are still needed to provide input in one of eight community branding focus groups on Jan. 18-19 at the Douglas County Chamber on Church Street in downtown Douglasville.
The focus groups, led by Development Counselors International (DCI), will conduct eight individual focus groups for resident input that will help create a unified brand for the community that will leverage community strengths and help address specific challenges.
These focus groups are designed to reach out to target audiences for them to provide honest input and get their opinions heard. The success of this initiative is dependent on the number of residents who participate and speak their minds.
Community residents who fall in the specific groups listed below should sign up online no later than Tuesday, Jan. 16 to participate and have their voices heard.
Representatives of these groups are needed to participate. They include:
• Small business owners/entrepreneurs
• Young professionals
• Employees of large companies
• Commercial and residential realtors
• Residents who work in Atlanta or other locations outside the county
• Established residents 55-plus
• New residents
DCI wants to hear from residents who may have never been involved in their community before.
To sign up for a focus group, visit https://goo.gl/Fyh9PV which will take you to a sign-up page where you will choose the target group that you best fit into.
If that time does not work for you or if the group has filled, please feel free to select another focus group even if it is not the best match for you. Each focus group will have a total of 20 slots to choose from and many of the questions will be the same. You will receive a reminder through the sign-up system prior to your session
