Two suspects were arrested for committing first degree burglary on New Year's Eve in Douglasville.

Tikia Buchanan, 38, and Marvin Coombs, 27, made their first court appearances in front of Superior Court Judge Cynthia C. Adams on Tuesday morning.

Buchanan, of Atlanta, and Coombs, of Duluth, intended to commit theft on Charles Beck around 4 p.m. Sunday at his residence on Kim Court, according to the arrest warrant. The two suspects were arrested the same day, jail records show.

Adams set bond for Buchanan and Coombs at $10,000 each.
