Mr. David Preston Singleton, age 70, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017. Mr. Singleton was born January 18, 1947 in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Beloved father and grandfather, Mr. Singleton was a man who appreciated the simple things of life, being out in nature, and spending time with the people he loved. Also known for his natural mechanical abilities and self-reliance. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends and family, movies, and science-fiction novels.

Mr. Singleton was a member of the Douglas County High School Football Team’s State Championship team in 1964. He was a well-respected and successful plant manager at Tuf-Flex Glass Manufacturing for many years. 

Mr. Singleton was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Singleton; and his parents, Frank and Mary Marshall Singleton. 

He is survived by his son, Brian (Anna) Singleton; brother, Gary (Blinda) Singleton; two grandchildren, Bethany Singleton and Rebekah Singleton; nephews, Mike Singleton and Scott Singleton; as well as other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. in the Rosehaven Chapel.
