Mr. Perry Lee Williams, age 55 of Wilsonville, OR died after a fierce battle with cancer on Tuesday, May 9, 2017. He was born October 11, 1961, in Douglas County, Georgia, son of the late William Bennett Williams and Emma Fay Nolen Williams. Perry lived in Douglasville, Georgia for most of his life. He was a Security Officer for American Citadel Guard Inc. at Cooper Lighting for many years; an amateur weatherman and certified storm chaser/spotter, who kept his many friends and family alerted to any impending weather danger. He was also an avid supporter of Relay for Life and children's cancer, and loved sports, especially his beloved Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Bulldogs.
Mr. Williams is survived by his sister Rebecca and David Luther of Tualatin, OR, sister Beth Williams of Newnan, GA, step-sister Maria and Chris Cook of Newnan, GA, step-brother Rodney Vaughn Jr. of Newnan, GA and many nieces and nephews, Madison, Nick, Jacob, Grace, Ryan, Katie, and Penelope.
The family will hold a private memorial service for Mr. Williams in Tualatin, OR. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the "Perry Williams Memorial Scholarship Fund" at https://www.youcaring.com/perrywilliams.
