Rabecca "Becky" Mae Fagan, age 63 of Douglasville, Georgia passed on October 29, 2017. She was blessed to have been surrounded by family during her last days. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Sanford and Nellie George. As a child she loved playing with her siblings and friends doing anything outside. She loved reminiscing and telling stories of her childhood, something her children and grandchildren asked her to do often.
Although she loved getting her hair and nails done, she equally loved fishing and being outdoors. There wasn't an animal she did not love and there wasn't a person she would not befriend. She was the brightest person in the room and everyone who knew her, loved her.
She was a true jack of all trades. Becky was the first woman to install a muffler in Georgia. She also worked as a Marta bus driver, waitress, bartender, security guard, and even an Atlanta Falcons cheerleader. She loved music, fresh air, sunshine on her face, her husband, her children, her grandchildren, and her family.
Becky was preceded in death by her baby sister, Donna Gail George; and her brother, Robert George.
She is survived by her loving husband, Claude William "Duck" Fagan; children, Rabecca (Brett) Dever and David Moore; brothers, Jimmy (Sandee) George, Ronnie (Sandy) George, William (Rebecca) George; sisters, Linda George, Jackie (Jerry) Portwood; grandchildren, Maris and Brady Dever, Emerson and Adaline Moore; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and an extremely large number of friends, most of whom she considered family.
The family will receive friends at Rosehaven on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Rosehaven Chapel with Pastor Josh Smith officiating.
