William Bruce Taylor Jr., age 70, peacefully died at home on Friday, February 2, 2018 in Swansea, SC.

Born in High Point, NC on September 6, 1947, he began a life that was unique and special like no other. He felt a strong sense of duty to his family. His in-country service began in December 1967. He was present in the A-Shau Valley, The Battle of Hue City and the Quang Tri Provence among others.

He retired from National Envelope in Austell, Ga to become a gentleman of leisure. He was frequently spotted at the Floyd Road Shoppette in Mableton, GA before moving to South Carolina to be near his younger grandchildren.

Ready with a joke or story, he brought joy and laughter everywhere he went.
