Since 1990, First Baptist Church, Lithia Springs has provided a safe alternative to traditional trick-or-treating with their trunk-or-treat event held at the church located at 3566 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Lithia Springs, Georgia. For the past few years the event has been titled JAM Fest which stands for Jesus and Me –the theme of the event, and is based on Romans 8:39…"neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." This year’s JAM Fest event will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2009 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will include candy, games, and a cake walk. Hot dog dinners will be served, and there will be live music provided by the FBCLS Contemporary Praise Band. A moonwalk and inflatable slide will also be on hand.
