Ms. Erin Lucia Scara, 33, of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed Tuesday, September 20, 2016.

Erin was born in Lagrange, Illinois on October 10, 1982, the daughter of James Robert Scara and Nelta Faye Chancy Scara. She enjoyed being a full-time mom and spending time with her family. Some of her many hobbies include sewing, crafts, yard art and gardening. Erin was Methodist by faith and had attended Concord United Methodist Church in Villa Rica, Georgia.

She is survived by her parents, James Robert Scara and Nelta Faye Chancy Scara of Villa Rica, Georgia, which has been their home for more than 30 years; son, Noah Dye, Villa Rica, Georgia; maternal step-grandfather, Tom Grzyb, Jasper, Alabama; paternal grandparents, Cynthia and Tom Thompson, Louisville, Kentucky, and James Robert Scara, New Albany, Indiana; brother, Eric Scara and brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Maggie Scara Villa Rica, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jacob Dye.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, September 22, 2016, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. The Celebration of Life Service will begin at 7 p.m., with Rev. Derek Porter officiating.
