Hazel Driver Muse, 96, of Carrollton died March 6, 2018. She was born December 24, 1921, in Carroll County, Georgia, daughter of the late Arthur Driver and Eunice Morgan Driver.

She worked at Lawler Hosiery Mill as a knitter for more than 32 years and was a member of Abilene Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John C. Muse; sons, John “Sherron” Muse, and Gary Muse; brothers, Dumah Driver and Roy Driver; and a sister, Jean Driver Crawford.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, James “Steve” Muse (Jane B.) of Carrollton; daughters-in-law, Charlotte Muse of Carrollton and Jane Robinson of Bremen; brother, Morgan Driver (Denise) of Tallapoosa; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Friday, March 9, at 2 p.m. Martin and Hightower Heritage Chapel in Carrollton with the Rev. Mike Harris and the Rev. John Lemmings officiating. Burial will follow in Abilene Baptist Church Cemetery with Ricky Muse, Jeff Muse, Dan Henderson, Bryan Muse, Tony Daniel, Dylan Pope, Jacob Muse, Levi Henderson, Tyler Muse, Blake Muse, and Conner Muse serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, March 8, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
