Mrs. Joyce Rosemary Williams Wills, age 81, of Buchanan passed away Friday, December 22, 2017. Mrs. Wills was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on September 18, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Williams and the late Jewel Seay Williams.

Mrs. Williams was a faithful member of Tallapoosa East Baptist Church. She was retired from Community and Southern Bank.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Avis Stringer; and one brother, Larry Williams.

Survivors include her husband, Talmadge “Tab” Wills of Buchanan; one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Tammy Wills of Buchanan; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and Ken Wages of Tallapoosa, and Ann and Kenneth Johnson of Buchanan; one brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Frances Williams of Buchanan; two grandchildren, Lacey Lane and Hillary Kirby; two great-grandchildren, Rosalynn Lane and Madison Kirby; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 24, 2017, at 2 p.m. from Tallapoosa East Baptist Church with Dr. Mason Bush officiating. Interment will follow in Tallapoosa East Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Wade Williams, Kurt Johnson, Scott Wages, Barry Womack, Tommy Stringer and Scott Bardenwerper.

The family will receive friends at Tallapoosa East Baptist Church Saturday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.
