Kenneth E. Pritchett of Bremen passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 in a local hospital. He was born in Haralson County, July 20, 1929, son of the late Ernest H. Pritchett and Te’Lena Brown Pritchett.

Mr. Pritchett was a member of Mount Holly Church. He was retired from Lockheed Company after 38 years as a maintenance engineer and was a U. S. Army Veteran having served in the Korean Conflict.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his spouse, Louise Akery Pritchett, and a sister, Lena June McBurnett.

Survivors include daughters, Sherri and Jim Brown of Bremen, Carol and Luke Vaccaro of Bremen; a granddaughter and her spouse, Haley and Raymond Peralta of Tallapoosa; a sister, Brenda Thomas of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; and two brothers, Donald Pritchett of West Point and Edward Lamar Pritchett of St. Augustine, Florida.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Services will be Wednesday, October 19, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Reverend Ricky Shirley officiating. Lamar McBurnett, Johnny Maddox, Alan Walker, Michael Gibbs, Terry Akery and Mark Akery will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ashbrook Village, 75 Herrell Road, Villa Rica, GA 30180.
