Funeral services for Laura Norris, 67, of Anniston, Alabama, will be Friday, March 9, at 1 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Chapel in Wedowee, Alabama, with the Rev. Barry Cosper, the Rev. Jerry Wiggins, and Dr. Roland Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel East Baptist Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Donald Dewberry, Kenny Bryan, John Bryan, Matt Bryan, Neil Weathington, Tim Cofield, Gary Parmer, and Jamie Taylor.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 8.

Mrs. Norris died Tuesday, March 6, 2018.

Survivors include: one son, Jamie Norris of Anniston; sisters, Bretha Bryan of Carrollton, Georgia, and Nita Dewberry of Graham, Alabama; brothers, John Dewberry of Trickum Valley, Alabama, Glenn Dewberry of Columbus, Geogia, and Michael Dewberry of Graham, Alabama; and a host of nieces and nephews.

An Anniston native, Mrs. Norris was born on January 25, 1950, the daughter of John A. and Gladys M. Noles Dewberry. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and was a retired nurse from Lafayette Nursing Home.

Mrs. Norris was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Norris; son, Justin Norris; and brother, Terry Dewberry.
