Nancy Belle Robinson passed away on Feb. 7, 2018, in Jackson, Georgia. She was 80.

Nancy was born on Sept. 15, 1937, in Carrollton, Georgia, to the late Lewis and Sadie Mae White. Nancy spent most of her life in Forest Park, Georgia, where she was devoted to her family. She was a member of Tanners Baptist Church in Ellenwood, Georgia. She enjoyed crocheting, bowling, swimming and traveling.

After Nancy’s children were grown, she went back to work at the Dairy Queen where she specialized in personalized cakes. She also applied herself to completing her GED as she was unable to finish school in her youth. Nancy was an amazing cook and a terrific seamstress. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Robinson of Bowdon, Georgia; and her two brothers and three sisters, Mammon, Billy, Grace, Alma and Allene.

She is survived by her four children, Patricia Ring of Seaford, Delaware, Douglas Robinson of Stockbridge, Georgia, Rhonda Llewellyn of Valrico, Florida, and Richard Robinson and his wife, Aimee, of Arlington, Tennessee. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Rainwater Funeral Home. Bro. Roy Wysner will officiate and members of Mrs. Robinson’s family will offer eulogies. Pallbearers will be Jay Kresses, Jaxon Kresses, Blake Kresses, Preston Readdy, Anthony Poole, and Kipp Strickland. Interment will follow at Sardis Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
