Mrs. Nancy Strickland, age 76, of Temple, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at her residence. She was born January 2, 1941, in Coweta County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Walter Buren Vines and the late Verna L. Wilson Vines.

She was a homemaker and was Baptist by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Strickland, and a sister, Wynelle Chandler.

Survivors include her son, James Moran, and daughter-in-law, Reedell Saxon of Temple; daughter, Denise Poland and son-in-law, George, of Villa Rica; daughter, Cathy Morris and daughter-in-law, Beth Morris of Bowdon; and son, William Eric Moran of Seattle, Washington; sister, Catherine Langford of West Point, Georgia; brother, Lawrence Vines of Whitesburg; niece, Terrie Williams; two grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 4, 2017, at 1 p.m. from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with the Rev. Robert McClung officiating. Those serving as pallbearers will be Craig Cook, Michael Strickland, Dale Wilkie, Timothy Langford, Matt Brand, Jeremy Langford, and Nick Poland. Interment will follow in Meadowbrook Memory Garden.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 3, 2017, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
