Robbie Curtis Pope, 76, of Carrollton died January 31, 2018. He was born April 18, 1941, in Carroll County, Georgia, son of the late Clarence Pope and Myrtle Craft Bell.

After graduating high school, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He worked as a camera operator for Fox Sports for more than 15 years and attended Tabernacle Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Frances Pope Beasley; and brother, Aubrey Pope.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Vicky Pope of Carrollton; daughter, Michelle Williams of Florida; two sisters, Sue Johnson and Janet Burch; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be Sunday, February 4, at 3 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at the church from 2 p.m. until the hour of service.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, his body has been cremated.
