Shelba Ann Brannon West, age 75, of Carrollton passed away February 1, 2018. She was born January 3, 1943, in Carrollton, Georgia, daughter of the late Arthur Brannon Jr and Christine Estell Collins Brannon.

She was a Carrollton High School graduate and worked for Southwire Company for more than 29 years.

She was a member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Larry M. West of Carrollton; her children, Belinda Cook (Bruce) of Carrollton, and Chris West (Dixie) of Solgohachia, Arkansas; sisters, Sue Jiles (Kenneth) of Whitesburg, and Gloria Brannon Smith of Carrollton; brothers, Danny Brannon (Glenda) of Douglasville, and Donnie Brannon (Anita) of Carrollton; five grandchildren, Brandon Cook of Carrollton, Jennifer Carroll of Center Ridge, Arkansas, Justin West of Conway, Arkansas, Amanda Wright of Carrollton, and Sierra Schmitz of Solgohachia, Arkansas; five great-grandchildren, eight nieces and seven nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted Monday, February 5, 2018, at 2 p.m. from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Bailey, the Rev. Keith Jiles, and the Rev. Donald Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Carrollton City Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Brandon Cook, Ryan Jiles, Joe Carroll, Ben Laney, Randall Wright, and Justin West.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, February 4, 2018, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
