Miss Teresa Ann “T” Jackson was born February 3, 1967, to Warner and Opal Jackson. She departed this Earthly life on November 27, 2017.

Teresa joined Poplar Springs Methodist Church at an early age.

Teresa was a high school graduate of Douglas County High School of 1986. When she walked into a room she would light that room with her beautiful smile and that soft sweet voice. She had a very kind and loving spirit.

Teresa was preceded in death by both parents, Opal and Warner Jackson; and one sister, Sharee Jackson.

She leaves behind three brothers, Willie Harris, Richard Harris and Reginald Harris, all of Douglasville; sister, Gwen Harris of Douglasville; five aunts, Hazel Smith, Mary Dean (Larry) Pinkard, Carolyn (Jimmy) Harris, Patricia Hodges, and Judy Carol (Dallas) Dix; three uncles, Otis Dobbs and Phillip Dobbs both of Carrollton, and Lommy Jackson of Atlanta, Georgia; a fiancé of 35 years, Matthew Dobbs Jr; a very special friend, Bill Wade; and special cousin, Jessie Bryant Clyde Dobbs; and a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, December 3, 2017, at 2 p.m. from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel. Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Cemetery. For friends that would like to pay their respects, they may come to the funeral home Sunday, December 3, 2017, from 1 p.m. until the hour of service.
