Ms. Virginia Anne Gray Kemp, age 67, of Carrollton passed away Monday, November 13, 2017, in Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton.

Anne was a woman of kindness and generosity that touched every person she knew. She was the loudest cheer and the biggest support of her loved ones. Anne was open, caring, and the first to see good in other people. She was also stubborn at times, insisting she could take anything on her shoulders. Anne enjoyed spending her time researching her family’s historical lines – and spending hours telling stories about when and where her forefathers came from. She had always wanted to go to Scotland to visit the land of her lineage, and was planning to write a book to tell their complete story.

Anne is survived by her two sons, Clifford and Jonathan Kemp; two sisters, Linda and Jane; granddaughters Alayna, Hayley, and Isabel, and dog Patchy.

As long as Anne had her loved ones close, she was blessed, and she was surrounded by loved ones when she passed in the early hours of Monday, November 13, at Tanner Medical Center.

A Gathering of family and friends was held Thursday, November 16, 2017, from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at J. Collins Funeral Home in Villa Rica.
