The junior trio of Sydney Dailey, Morgan Cashen and Grace Clements were an offensive force for the Bremen High School girls' soccer team throughout the 2017 campaign, helping the team reach the Class AAA elite eight.

Now the Lady Blue Devil standouts will take their talents to Marietta as all three juniors were selected to compete in one of two Georgia High School All-Star Games hosted by DiVarsity.com this Saturday at Sprayberry High School. The Bremen trio will represent the White Team in the 12 p.m. contest.

Dailey is looking forward to Saturday's all-star festivities. For her and her teammates the chance to mingle with some of the area and the state's best players and showcase themselves in front of players and coaches from all over the state of Georgia is something that can't be replicated.

"It really is an honor to be selected for this," Dailey said. "We really, really like going because it's a fun game to play around and meet all of the other people in the area that play, as well."

This isn't the first all-star rodeo for the junior Cashen, who along with Dailey attended the event one year ago. Now back for a second straight year, they've gotten used to the unique stage that they will compete in on Saturday.

"Last year was a little nerve-racking because we were so new, but this year we're coming in a little more confident," Cashen said. "We know what to expect at this point so we're looking forward to playing."

With most of the roster returning for next season, the Lady Blue Devils' shot at duplicating this year's successful season in 2018 looks very likely. Clements, the team's leading scorer, couldn't think of a better way for the girls to officially wrap up their junior campaign and officially get the ball rolling on their senior season.

"Playing in this all-star game is definitely a positive way to end the year and start the building process toward next season," Clements said.
