Alexander safety Aaron Casey signed his National Letter of Intent with  Indiana on Wednesday morning, the first day of the new early football signing period.

The all-region player had been committed to the Hoosier program since July.

This past season, Casey recorded a team-leading 120 tackles, including two tackles for loss. He also had five interceptions and five pass breakups for the Cougars, who reached the first round of the state playoffs.

Casey was a preseason all-state selections. He is also a member of the school’s basketball team.
