Former Alexander High standout wide receiver Justin Hall was named to the All-Mid-American Conference team, which was released on Wednesday morning.
Hall, a freshman at Ball State in Indiana, made the all-conference second team.
He joins three other teammates in making the all-conference team including defensive end Anthony Winbush, a defensive end, who was the lone first team selection.
Hall become the first Ball State freshman to earn either first of second team All-MAC honors since the 2005 season. This past season, he led all freshmen nationally with 78 receptions and his 801 yards were second among freshmen in the county.
The former record-setting all-state receiver also had three touchdown receptions.
He had a season-high of 13 receptions for 121 yards against Western Michigan on Sept. 30.
Last season, Hall helped Alexander finish runner-up in Region 5-AAAAAA and reach the second round of the state playoffs. He was named the Douglas County Sentinel Player of the Year and selected the Howard Thompson Trophy winner, which goes to the top player in the county as voted on by the county football coaches and athletic directors and selected media members.
