A Forest Park man napping at the drive through of a Villa Rica McDonald’s was arrested on drug charges this weekend.
John Michael Colbaugh, 22, was arrested early Sunday morning and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
Villa Rica police were called shortly before 5 a.m. for a man passed out in his car at the McDonald’s drive-through. According to Capt. Brian Camp, when officers arrived, they found Colbaugh slumped over the steering wheel with the engine running.
Police woke Colbaugh up and asked for his license. While he was taking his wallet out of a Crown Royal bag, a bag of methamphetamine fell out. Police then searched the car and allegedly found ten more bags of meth and $756 in cash.

A routine traffic stop ended with a drug arrest in Villa Rica this weekend.
Jerome David Holloman, 19, of Bivins Road in Villa Rica, was arrested Saturday on a violation of probation. He was also charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
According to Camp, Villa Rica police officers stopped a car containing Holloman for a tag infraction. During the stop, the officer allegedly saw a large amount of money in the center console. During the investigation, the officer found that Holloman was wanted for a parole violation.
When the officer arrested Holloman, he allegedly found $980 in cash, which Holloman allegedly said he earned raking leaves. According to the officer, Holloman acted suspiciously while being arrested.
“The officer stated that while questioning Holloman in side the vehicle he noticed that the subject was wearing a jacket, however when he asked Holloman to step out of the car, he took his jacket off first,” Camp wrote in an e-mail. “The officer thought this to be strange due to the fact that the temperature outside was in the 30s and retrieved the jacket to check for additional evidence during a consent to search of the vehicle and contents.”
A K-9 unit was brought in and reportedly smelled something near the driver’s seat and center console of the vehicle. Police allegedly found “numerous” crack cocaine rocks along with a set of scales. Camp said Monday the exact amount of cocaine found was not known.
The driver of the car was not arrested or charged.

Three teenagers were arrested over the weekend and face charges related to alleged thefts. Police said additional charges may come as police identify more alleged victims.
Blake Michael Anderson, Casey Scott Gillespie and Seth Michael Schweickart, all 17 and of Carrollton, were arrested Saturday and charged with theft by receiving stolen property, criminal damage to property, entering an automobile and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
Carrollton Police Capt. Chris Dobbs said an employee of the Information Age was leaving work around 8 p.m. Saturday when he was approached by three young men who said their car ran out of gas. The employee told police he took one of the young men, Anderson, to a gas station. When they got there, the employee allegedly saw pry marks around his gas tank and called 911; when police arrived at the Information Age, Dobbs said the other two young men were gone.
Dobbs said police ran the license plate of the 2006 Chevrolet Colbat the young men were driving, and it came back stolen. Police then searched the car and found several other allegedly stolen items, including a Fayette County sheriff’s office radio, debit cards, cellular phones and CDs.
Dobbs said Gillespie and Schweickart were later found by police near the Chateau apartments.
Dobbs said police are still sorting out who owns the stolen items, said more charges could come. “It’s still under investigation,” he said. “If we can find the victims of some of these other items that were stolen, there could be more charges.”
