Mrs. Shirley Patsy Lawson, age 74, of Lithia Springs, Ga., passed away Friday, Oct. 23, 2009. She was born July 30, 1935, in Atlanta, Ga., daughter of the late Henry Grady and Genie Cornelia Thompson. Mrs. Lawson loved her family, flowers, and gardening. She was a member of Lithia Springs United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Lawson of Smyrna, Ga.; daughter, Donna M. Moses of Lithia Springs, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law, Richard R. and Sheila Teal of Douglasville, Ga.; granddaughter, Amber Moses of Lithia Springs, Ga.; grandson, Richard and Kristy Teal, and great-grandson, Bryson Teal, all of Douglasville, Ga.; four sisters-in-laws, several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, from 5-7 p.m. The funeral service is Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, at 2 p.m. in the Rosehaven Chapel with the Rev. Marion Pearson officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens.
