Ms. Mina F. Little, 77, of 170 Little Circle, Tallapoosa, Ga., passed away Dec. 5, 2009. Ms. Little was born Nov. 8, 1932, in Haralson County to the late Lewis E. and Margie Bagby Little.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Little; brothers, Cosmer Little, Lester Little, Hoyt Little, Bill Little and Harold Little; and two nephews, Tommy Little and Estus Little.
Ms. Little was a seamstress with Sewell’s and was a member of the Mt. Zion West Baptist Church.
Ms. Little is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, who left this tribute. Aunt Mina was a very unique and gracious lady. Everyone needs an Aunt Mina. She was an avid southern gospel music fan. She instilled in us – her nieces and nephews – that love. Aunt Mina was a wonderful caregiver to her parents and to any family member who needed her. She was always “Aunt Mina” to us, but after our parents were gone, she became mother to us, grandmother to our children and great-grandmother to our grandchildren. We are fortunate to have had her in our lives, and we will always remember our wonderful “Aunt Mina.”
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, at Mt. Zion West Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Little and Revs. Jerry Hulsey officiating. Music was provided by Jenny Williams and Nathalie Williams. Pallbearers serving were Dennis Little, J.L. Little, Tim Little, Brandon Little, Jonathan Little and Bobby Hulsey.
Interment followed in Mt. Zion West Baptist Church.
