Douglas County’s four high schools will compete tonight at 6 p.m. at the Boundary Waters Pool in the annual County Swimming Championships.

While Chapel Hill and Alexander are considered the stronger teams, the event is also the final chance to athletes to beat the state cut and qualify for the state meet. The event will be held Feb. 11-13 at Westminster High School.

Currently Jessie Crews, Sean Moran and Brittany Whiddon have qualified for the state in at least one event.

Basketball - Chapel Hill at Westlake, Alexander at Douglas County, Lithia Springs at Whitewater
