The Cultural Arts Council Douglasville/ Douglas County is partnering with ArtPop Street Gallery and Douglas County Travel and Tourism, to bring the public art program to Georgia, metro Atlanta, and Douglas County.
ArtPop ATL will shine the spotlight on talented artists by placing their work on traditional static and digital billboards as well as displays at the Atlanta airport and throughout metro Atlanta. Artists in designated counties working in all media are invited to submit artwork for consideration.
Work from 30 artists will be selected by the ArtPop ATL selection committee in a blind jury process. The selection committee is comprised of representatives from the Cultural Arts Council Douglasville/Douglas County, ArtPop, alum ArtPop artist(s), Lamar Advertising and two at-large community members.
Selected artwork will be displayed on billboards owned and managed by Lamar Advertising, Clear Channel Outdoor, Link Media, Clear Channel Airport, and Outfront Media.
