Alexander wrapped up the Roundball Classic in Charleston, South Carolina on on Tuesday with a win over Savannah High School. The cougars defeated the Georgia school, 62-55 after trailing 28-19 at the half.

Alexander competed in the Roundball Classic in Charleston, South Carolina on Saturday and Monday. In the opening round, the Cougars took on national powerhouse, Seton Hall Prep. AHS lost the opening game, 85-60.

Alexander opened their stretch run for the region and state tournaments Saturday by hosting their annual ALX Invitationals. The Cougars dominated the traditional style event, winning by 100,.5 points over second place South Paulding. Rounding out the top four were Harrison and Mountain Brook.
